How much do you know about voltage in your life?

At present, there are three types of voltage used in indoor power stations around the world: 100V, 110-130v, and 220-230v, which are very helpful for people who buy foreign appliances.

100V, 110 ~ 130v are classified as low voltage, such as the voltage on board, so its equipment is designed according to such low voltage.

220-230v is called high voltage, including 220 V in China and 230 V in the UK. It should not be a problem at all when Chinese electrical appliances with the same voltage system are used in the UK, because most electrical appliances have a 20% voltage floating range. For example, Haier is a Chinese multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company. It’s the floating range of color TV is marked with ac90-260v50hz. As a precision electrical product, the color TV can be used as usual between 90v-260v, not to mention other equipment such as electric stove, electric cooker, etc., 230 V voltage just makes them heat faster, no problem.

Many electrical appliances have suitable voltage, namely, they can be suitable for 110V - 240V voltage, such as charger, notebook computer, computer (to be adjusted), razor, etc. you can see your electrical signs.

Countries with a voltage of 230-240 V can also use all Chinese appliances because the voltage in China can reach up to 250 v.

Overview of voltage in the world:

100V: Japan, North Korea

110-130v: Taiwan, USA, Canada, Panama, Cuba, Lebanon, Mexico

220-230v: UK, Germany, France, China, Singapore, Hong Kong (200V), Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria, Netherlands, Philippines, Thailand, Norway, Singapore, India, New Zealand, and Australia

Most countries use 220 ~ 230V voltage for indoor electricity because the high voltage has the advantages of power-saving and high thermal efficiency.
